If I know one thing about Seattle, it’s that when the weather forecast calls for warmth and sunshine after a long grey winter, the whole city goes absolutely crazy. But can you blame us? I might need to dig up my favorite cocktail recipes to celebrate- this one being one of them. I originally made this cocktail for St. Patrick’s day, but honestly it’s just a yummy and refreshing cocktail for a hot day. Grab the recipe for my spicy cilantro Moscow mule via the link in my bio! And if you don’t like cilantro, just leave it out. 😉
We ate these for Easter brunch, and it made me remember how yummy savory pancakes and toppings can be. We topped our pancakes with smoked salmon and crème fraîche, and had a light spring salad to go alongside. If you are extra hungry don’t forget a poached egg! Grab the recipe for sweet potato and zucchini pancakes via the link in my bio 🌱
|| NEW RECIPE || I’m baaaaack! It was so great to take a break from posting on both the blog and IG... but now I’m back and happy to share some new recipes with you all. This one has been a long time coming... Moroccan-inspired lemon chicken with Israeli couscous. It’s a year-round #crockpot favorite in our family and I hope you enjoy it too! Recipe can be found by clicking the link in my bio 😊
In anticipation of 2021, let me say “cheers” to you with this cocktail. What a year it’s been. Not quite the roaring 20s some of us hoped for, to say the least. I heard someone joke recently that none of us will be writing the wrong year on our checks in 2021 (do people still write checks?). But all jokes aside, I want to say thank you for following along with my recipes this year. Not only was it my first pandemic, but also my first full year parenting so I feel grateful to have squeezed in a few recipe posts during Adeline’s naps.
My favorite NYE snack! Popcorn and Chex savory snack mix. If you love salty and savory flavors this is right up your alley. I could eat an entire batch of this no problem. Recipe linked in bio ✨
NEW 🥂 Spiced vanilla pear cocktail, the NYE drink that you’ve been waiting for. Boozy but festive, and topped with champagne. Happy [almost] 2021! Recipe linked in my profile.
I’m grateful for a slower pace this holiday season- definitely something I’m taking with me from 2020. I’m planning some fun baking for this week- anyone else doing the same? And in between cookies I’ll rejuvenate with this festive endive salad [recipe linked in bio].
In case you missed it, overnight croissant French toast bake is new on the blog this week! It’s so easy and all my taste testers approved it wholeheartedly 🥐 ✨recipe linked in bio for you ✨
If you were to spike this mug of cocoa, what would you add??? Me? I’d add Kahlua! Jolly hot cocoa recipe linked in bio ☕️🍫
NEW ✨ Overnight croissant French toast bake. Sooo easy. Simply mix everything together, refrigerate overnight, and bake in the morning. It’s delicious too 🥐 [Recipe linked in bio]
