5 ingredient peanut butter snack dip

I’ve served this dip at quite a few baby showers and parties, and no matter how much effort I put into making cute cupcakes, mini sandwiches, or fancy skewers, this is, without exception, the most popular food item. The crazy part is that it only requires 5 ingredients (including salt) and 5 minutes to make, but I guess that’s also what makes it perfect. This dip is the best balance of creamy, sweet, and salty, and if you are allergic to peanuts, any nut butter will work (my favorite peanut butter substitute is equal parts cashew and almond butter). Plus, if you’ve ever fed a toddler, this a great protein packed snack that helps prevent the hangry meltdowns.

5 INGREDIENT PEANUT BUTTER SNACK DIP
makes approximately 2 cups of dip

Ingredients:
1 cup (270g) unsalted* peanut butter (can substitute any nut butter of choice)
1 cup (225g) whole milk yogurt (unsweetened or low sugar)
3/4 teaspoon sea salt*
2 tablespoons (42g) honey
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Serve with fruit: strawberries, bananas, and apples

Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients together in a medium bowl. Serve with fruit of choice. This can be made in advance and will keep well in the refrigerator, covered, for a week or so.

*salt only to taste if your peanut butter is salted
